Check_snmp Plugin Not Installed
Greetings,I have recently installed the nagios3 package from the repository and have been buried with this particular issue ever since. My intention is to add a command to Nagios in order to check the state of a printer using SNMP. I tried following the template configuration file for printers (included with nagios3), but it was specific to HP printers and I quickly moved on to another path.Currently, I am trying to use the checksnmp command included with the nagios-plugins package, but I am having severe difficulties having MIBs translated.

In no particular order.(1) Bless you for checking the bug database(2) It might be worth checking to see if the package in question is still the same version.(3) It would probably be worth submitting the details of your own bug in support of the existing bug.

Provide enough pertinent information to help the maintainer track the issue down.)(4) Please note that the last activity on this bug (just a couple of weeks ago, as of this writing) was 'not reproducible.' Until the dev can reproduce the bug, 'live with it or find a workaround' may be the only solution.
