It's persistent. Would really like to find a fix. Everytime I scan for hardware changesthe system 'finds' the ACPI-Compliant Control Method but then my system won't wake from sleep. When I reboot, the ACPI-Compliant Control Method disappears again and my system runs fine and wakes from sleep. The problem is that when I don't scan to turnon ACPI-Compliant Control Method, I have no battery icon and never know where my batery level is.
