Antivirus Gratis Para Netbook Lenovo
I have noticed very recently that those with Chromebooks that are merged with Android, such as my Lenovo N22-20 (80HV0001us), cannot receive any downloads from norton's site, or better yet, even acknoweldgement that Norton is installed on Chromebook. A person could have a 1 Device subscription and have 10 Chromebooks laying around with norton mobile security and norton online won't show any licenses being used, no installs acknowedged. I know this is very recent with the news regarding specific chromebooks right now, but many more coming, that are able to use Google Play and download all android apps and they work fully. This is not a partial android system, but full android, just as if it was any other device, like phones, tablets, etc. So I went into CHAT with a norton Rep, and it kinda went in circles. The bottom line was: I can download Norton mobile security from google play and install it with no isses, that's fine, but cannot install using Norton's website.
It is blocked because its seen as a Chrome OS, and it is.But, it also has a full android 7.1.1 merged (in my case) and with no shortfalls. So I think Norton should acknowledge this, and where the site will 'SEE' the installation on chromebooks and, consequently it would show as using 1 License. Its considered 'freebies' right now on licensing count.
All google had to do since both Chrome OS and Android are both based on Linux is, allow android to be supported via programming, but simple enough. It used to be seen that Android was meant for phones, tablets and Chrome OS was for Netbooks, and that's it. Is there really any difference between a 12' Tablet with Android and a 12' Netbook using ChromeOS? Nope, not really. I have since uninstalled norton on chromebook when I had read about how tight the security is on chromeOS. I didn't realize that before, this is a new chromebook. Anyways, if my memory serves me, which is very often, I believe it was when I went on norton's site and did a 'Install on another Device' on the license or device page.

I then put in my Email addie and afterwards, I clicked the emailed link for downloading, it was then coming from Norton.com that it mentions this can't be done with ChromeOS. Does this make sense? I had to think a bit on how exactly this was and sure wish my memory was better.:)Added memo: I just remembered that I think the reason I wanted to do another install, even tho it was installed already was, to help norton.com know it was installed for sure (thinking maybe google play doesn't notify symantec) and to put a license on it. At the time I didn't realize it wasn't made for ChromeOS. I just knew I could do all android apps with no prob and it should work out ok.
